It's my fault really, I can't remember everything I read about the manga! And originally that I thought it wouldn't really be a big deal if Lilynette died. Then reread chapters to make sure my Starrk characterization was decent, and low and behold he explains that basically Lilynette is the power that makes him an Arrancar... then I was forced to realize that if she were gone he'd probably regress, but by then I'd already finished the chapter =_=
In all honesty, I probably don't take canon as seriously as I need to ^^;; I mean I like things to be true to the fandom, of course, but mostly I'm just here for the pr0nz! All I want is Renji fucking Starrk, lol. But I know that this Lilynette thing is something I need to sort out, it's just how I should go about that that's giving me trouble. And now I've the weirdest idea of how Renji would be in that situation, like some sort of I'm-so-not-ready-for-this stepdad to an overgrown kid.
