I got really attached to them too, and I was sad when the series ended. At the same time I was a little relieved because I feel that with long series (like Bleach) things can kind of...wear out their welcome?
Yea, Shuuhei must have thought of Kensei as a shining white knight when the guy saved him from that hollow. *sighs happily*
