Date: 2010-04-29 05:34 am (UTC)(a) -- Naturally, he's a fan of 'violent' music. Anything that gets his veins pumping, fists clenching and itching to carve a hole in someone's chest. Most of the songs he likes are by the band Nine Inch Nails.
-- He's never really wanted to fuck a woman. They don't ignite the same blood-lust that the men he encounters do, and without the blood-lust there's no lust at all.
-- If he got to meet (and pummel) every shinigami from the Gotei, the one he'd like most would be Hisagi Shuuhei. He's not sure why the bastard interest him, but maybe it has something to do with the weird, almost feral smell wafting from the scarred man. The scent is especially strong the closer Grimmjow gets to Shuuhei's zanpakuto.
(b) Grimmjow doesn't suck at all, he's the shit. It's everyone else who sucks (his dick).
(c) He can have eyeliner, long fluffy ears, and fucking paws for feet, and he's still the baddest mofo around. He's also awesome because he never gives up. Never.
(d1) -- He never got to pay that bastard Tousen back by ripping the dickhead's arm off, and then beating him to death with it.
-- He never got a chance to see that one Vizard again so he could settle the score -- the one with the dumbass haircut. But he'd always been more interested in the other one (Kurosaki) anyway.
-- He never understood all the shit between Nnoitra and Neliel, and when he ran into her again after she'd disappeared, he had one more reason to hate Nnoitra. Why? Because Neliel was a fucking pain in the ass as a kid, and he preferred her when she was one of them. Yea she was self-righteous as fuck and he felt like she looked down on him most of the time (which pissed him off faster than anything) but at least she kept to her damned self, and at least she didn't cry all the fucking time and follow his prey around.
-- He never got to kill Kurosaki.
-- He never found his own kingdom where he could be his own king, the way that he'd always wanted.
(d2) Love is for bitches. Grimmjow fucks and kills.

(a) -- She wears those skirts for a reason, obviously. It doesn't take a genius to see that she has some of the best legs around. But she doesn't do it for the benefit of others, she does it for her own pleasure. She takes pride in her legs, so why shouldn't she get to look at them whenever she wants?
-- People think she's rude and inconsiderate because she likes to spy on their affairs. But in reality she does it because she cares, because if she didn't watch them how would she ever know when they might be in trouble?
-- Of everyone she was forced to leave behind when she and others left Soul Society, the one she misses most is Nanao. The girl was like her own child, and knowing that she wasn't there to watch Nanao grow into a strong, capable woman -- and an equally strong shinigami -- is the most upsetting thing for Lisa.
(b) She's not conscious and kicking Aizen's ass.
(c) Lisa? Everything about Lisa is awesome ♥
(d2) Kensei -- He's one of the most attractive men she knows. He exudes raw, masculine power, and he isn't just a body with skill, but a complex mind as well. But despite all of that, it starts and stops there. She cares for Kensei as an ally, and she cares for him in bed when they're fucking, but she'll never love him.
Ukitake -- Another gorgeous man, but again lacking in everything that she wants. She admires his good-looks, his infinite wisdom, and his calm, cheerful personality; but he doesn't incite a burning need inside her, that kind that would keep her coming back for more and wanting to stay with him for longer than a few night's trysts.
Rose -- Of all the other Vizard, he is the one who irritates her most. Yes he's her ally, she respects his intelligence, and she'll always have his back on the battlefield whenever he needs it. But too often he drones on -- and on -- and she doesn't have the patience for his self-indulgent lyricism. In the beginning when she was still interested she'd settle for a simple 'Just shut up and take your dick out', but now she skips all pretenses, leaving him with a dirty manga (and his musical wanderings) while she seeks more forward, uninhibited company.
Halibel -- She never even knew the Espada's name, but she saw something in those aquamarine eyes (and heard something in that low, confident voice) that she liked. If the war hadn't gotten in the way and the blond woman had become a part of their group, Lisa would have happily taken her to bed.
Nanao -- Little Nanao? The last time Lisa saw her the girl was only a child, and as open with her sexuality as she may be, that is something even she isn't interested in.
But if she's reunited with Nanao after the war, and sees that the girl has become a mature, talented woman... Well, wouldn't it be better to take care of the girl herself, than to let someone else do it?

Date: 2010-04-29 08:12 am (UTC)(a) -- He's a fan of American baseball. He first saw it while staying at Urahara-san's shoten during one of his real world missions. He took a bat back to Soul Society, and though he feels oddly reluctant to tell others about it -- for some reason he's compelled to keep it for himself, at least for now -- sometimes he'll ask Shuuhei to come with him to a secluded field late at night and pitch to him.
-- He's also a fan of urban culture. Hip-hop music, graffiti... He quickly realized that graffiti in Seireitei wasn't such a good idea, though, when tagging some of the buildings of the 6th with their insignia -- as a show of pride and loyalty -- landed him in his Taicho's office, with a silent but admittedly glacial Kuchikia Byakuya, and a stack of paperwork that nearly touched the ceiling.
-- When he looks at Jinta and sees the same crimson hair, he briefly wonders what'd be like to have a kid around. Not necessarily his own kid, but a kid to hang out with and...take care of.
(b) He's too impulsive for his own good, and more often than not it gets him into trouble.
(c) Most of the time he's upbeat and optimistic, and with an unshakable belief in the importance of friendship.
(d1) -- He never got to finish his damned sentence that that bastard Ichigo interrupted!
-- He never got to help/support his friends (Hisagi, Kira, and Momo) as much as he wanted to before the war began.
-- He never got to save Rukia himself, and deep down he's still disappointed in himself for failing her. But at the same time he accepts what happened, accepts that she had another hero come to her rescue that day. He's just thankful that she's alive and well, and that their friendship is finally mended.
And, sometimes he remembers how he refused to let go of her when Aizen demanded that he hand her over, remembers that he took blow after blow to protect her. Those memories bring him comfort, always coaxing a small but satisfied grin from his mouth, the realization that he had just as much a part in saving her life as Ichigo did putting his mind at ease.
(d2) Rukia -- he thought he loved her when they were younger. He did love her when they were younger, but as they got older that love either shifted into something more platonic, or he just realized that he'd been confusing his feelings of deep friendship with something more romantic, when they weren't.
Shuuhei -- Shuuhei has never been anything more than a friend, and an occasional fuck buddy when either one of them needed the other to take the edge off. Renji respects his sempai deeply, and cares for him deeply, but it isn't love and he'd never want Shuuhei as a life-long partner. He also knows that Shuuhei would never want him as a life partner, and that man's heart has always belonged to someone else.
Ichigo -- Renji loves the kid; as an ally, a friend, and even as a possible lover. They may bitch and moan constantly, but they understand each other. On the other hand, despite them bickering like an old married couple, they're far from being one. Maybe if Ichigo were older Renji could really let himself love the kid as much as he'd like to -- but Ichigo isn't older, and Renji has enough common sense not to take advantage of that.
Zaraki Kenpachi -- He doesn't like to talk about his time spent with his old, 10th Division taicho.
Urahara -- You'd hafta be shittin' him. Renji would never fall for the pervy shopkeeper. The bastard works him like a dog, and he's not looking to have the equivalent of a boss as a lover as well. No, not at all...

So much this. Renji and Ichigo have joke arguing and quite often piss each other off, but Urahara seems to be the only person capable of actually making Renji furious. That's not to say Urahara wouldn't trick him into agreeing to a relationship, he seems to trick Renji about most other things ^^;;

-- He tells himself that he regrets the night he found Akon; alone, dirty, circles under his eyes and nothing but skin and bone as he poked at a dead animal. But he'd seen the calculating way that Akon examined the thing with dark eyes, noticed the careful, purposeful prods with a stick against lifeless limbs. He's been stuck with Akon ever since, and convinced himself many years ago that he'd lost interest in the younger man once he'd spent his time studying him from the inside out. He'd rather kill Akon for good and file him away, but for whatever reason he never has.
-- He had numerous gigais made that were exact replicas of Urahara Kisuke, after the man was banished from Soul Society. To go with those gigais were various types of soul candy, some that resembled Urahara's personality, and many others that were fashioned differently on purpose. Mayuri performed countless tests on the gigais, both physical and mental, to study the behavioral differences -- and, more importantly, to get an idea of how much better the man would have been if he'd had a soul that Mayuri manufactured personally.
And of course, he tortured each and every one of them.
(b) He does whatever he pleases, with zero thought for what the consequences may be. The only reason this sucks, is that one day it might get him killed or thrown back into the Maggot's Nest, and then we'd be without his wonderful presence.
(c) He has rows and rows of stitched scars covering his body, from experiments he performed on himself.
(d1) -- He never got to capture the last Quincy, but he still fantasizes about the exact experiments he would perform if he had. After assessing every way that the boy's voice would undulated, with screams and whimpers and gasps of pain, he would have then severed Ishida's vocal cords, because at the end of the day he really chatters and complains way too much for Mayuri's liking.
-- He also never got to capture Shihoin Yoruichi, and he never got to inject her with the special substance he made to freeze her in her cat form forever.
-- He never liked food, and thus developed a supplement in its place, to take once everyday so that he could sustain his reiatsu.
-- He's never been back to his 'home' before the Maggot's Nest, and he never will be.
-- He's never been to the Human World. He dissected humans in the past, and he'd found them to be weak and uninteresting. But since coming into contact with humans such as Inoue Orihime and Sado Yasutora, he is newly intrigued and currently planning a mission in which his squad members will go to Karakura Town. He hopes to collect humans with high spiritual pressure and unique powers -- like that of the ryoka -- that he can examine.
(d2) Love? Love is not a term Kurotsuchi Mayuri is familiar with.

It makes me think of Mayuri settling in for the night -- his face is clean and he's just drifting off, replaying the day in his head, making sure he remembered to turn off all the Bunsen burners and order Nemu to prepare the coffee maker for the next morning on pain of death, and oh -- he musn't forget he left that vial of plague in the sleeve of his shihakushou. Plague in the sleeve plague in the sleeve plague in the sle-- DAMN IT HE FORGOT TO KILL AKON AGAIN. Oh well. Perhaps tomorrow.
d1 part 5, oh god, I would LOVE to see Mayuri all gigai'd, makeup-free and in street clothes, slithering his way around KT like a stranger with really creepy candy trying to trap, like, Keigo ('cause Tatsuki would kick his ass), even if he'd never truly be so lame. XD

IKR? I too would love to see Mayuri in the human world, without the makeup and headdresses and just in some regular, modern clothes. Oh, he'd be sexy, you can't deny it. Creeping through the streets, looking human but with the looming, uncanny aura that is so NOT human. Guh. I love it.
