So I should be writing. I finished the next chapter to 'Smoke and Mirrors' about two days ago, and now all I need to do is edit it before posting, buuuut... I've been busy watching QaF, lol.  I swore to myself that I wouldn't watch the entire series, but what can I say? I found the first season on youtube, it's free, so why not treat myself? 

Anyway... Maybe I'll force myself to take a break from the show just long enough to finish editing. If we're lucky I can get it done by 2 am tonight. At first I was going to alternate between S&M and 'Dogs of War', but I imagine things happening in S&M that will be mentioned in the next chapter or two of DoW. And I can't very well reveal those things in DoW before I actually write them in S&M, now can I? 

Long story short the game plan has changed, and I'm going to finish 'Smoke and Mirrors' before I continue 'Dogs of War'. It shouldn't take too long because there should only be three or four chapters left. None of my chapters are ever too long, aaaaaand I already know all of what's going to happen. So it's just a matter of being productive and executing each chapter as quickly as possible without them being full of errors :) 

I would so do that three facts about a character meme just to entertain myself during this dry spell, but I'm not creative enough to come up with interesting facts.

SO.... It's your fault I've become ridiculously obsessed with Brian/Justin videos on youtube. It's just so... SEXY. I'm seriously refrencing a bunch of videos for position ideas now. I think what did it for me is that, unlike porn, you have SOMETHING left to the imagination. All the yummy skin on skin that you never see in porn because they always want 'the full view'... so sexy.

I can't say I'm entirely intrested in watching the series though. I've seen a couple epidoses and really? Only the sex appeals to me. Brian is emotionally abusive, and Hal Sparks performance in this as Michael? I dunno man... I've seen Hal Sparks in comedy and seeing him so... effeminate just seemed really off to me after seeing what else he was capable of.

But that's just me.

Exactly! I fully plan on indulging those two, if that's what they want. I never deny the muse if it's talking.

Hehe, I seem to have gotten a couple of people obsessed!! I wasn't sure what it was about the Brian/Justin videos that made them so sexy, but I think you put your finger on it. Actual porn is...gritty, almost too realistic to the point that it's gross. These videos leave something to the imagination like you said :)

I haven't seen Hal Sparks in any other show/movie, so his character in QaF doesn't seem out of the ordinary for me personally. And I actually really enjoy Brian's character!! There are a lot of times where I go 'what the fuck are you thinking?' and I get annoyed with the way he handles things, but at the end of the day it kind of keeps things... hmm... not interesting necessarily, but kind of... raw. Painfully raw, and something about that draws me. Someone like Brian in real life would be no good, but for a show I can handle it ;)

And even though he is emotionally abusive, there are a lot of moments throughout the series when he's genuinely caring and nurturing towards the ones around him (his son in particular). So he isn't a completely cold bastard, otherwise I'd probably hate him!
