Time For Some Tunes

Hokay. I got crafty today. I haven't posted much lately (or at least not anything of use)... My writing is lackluster; not for lack of ideas, but for lack of motivation. I'm not sure what my issue is at this point but whatever. I've noticed for a while now that listening to certain songs puts certain pictures in my head of certain characters. Yes, it's all very CERTAIN. Anyway I decided to keep myself busy by making a soundtrack 8D 

YAY MUSIC! 

I ended up having a lot of songs so I broke it into two discs... This is my first time zipping a file and trying to upload it, so let me know if the links/files work, ok? 

Disc One @SENDSPACE

The order might be all messed up once you've downloaded the songs, so I'm going to put the correct sequence here: 

01.  "I Like Pretending"  by IAMX -- How did I hear this song? The lovely foxflare . It's an awesome song, and I immediately thought that it'd be a nice theme for my Redemption 'verse. All the boys love pretending.
02.  "Sonne"  by Rammstein -- This song is just epic. The beginnings of GrimmAkon, their love relationship blooming within the shadowed laboratories of the 12th, beneath the glimmering green light illuminating from subject jars.
03.  "Big Man [Transient Mix]"  by Nine Inch Nails -- GRIMMJOW FUCKING JEAGERJAQUES!!
04.  "Whatever (I Had a Dream)"  by Butthole Surfers --  MORE GRIMMJOW FUCKING JEAGERJAQUES!  He has a dream, and it ends with you eating his fist.
05.  "20 Dollar"  by M.I.A. -- Akon enjoys this song -- especially when he's high.
06.  "Sacred Stones"  by Sheila Chandra -- The horned shinigami creeping between operating tables, tweaking this and that of the patients as he wanders by, ignoring their pained whimpers. Or his death, the 12th being reduced to ruins during a surprise hollow attack; Akon's broken body fading to nothing beneath the debris, and Grimmjow's enraged roar.
07.  "Svefn-G-Englar"  by Sigur Ros -- Yea, Grimmjow and Akon have a slow song. Stick that in your pipe and smoke it.
08.  "Strange Days"  by Syntax -- Smoking and fucking.  Then some more fucking, and some more smoking.
09.  "Teach Me Tiger"  by April Stevens -- .... HOW COULD I NOT PUT THIS ON HERE?!  Are they completely fucking trashed, or does Akon just have a more disturbing sense of humor than we realized? 
10.  "Rude Boy"  by Rihanna -- Yes Abarai Renji loves this song and he ain't ashamed. And Starrk very much enjoys each hip twist at BOOM BOOM BOOM.
11.  "November Has Come"  by Gorillaz -- Because the redhead is gangsta, yo.
12.  "Scooby Snacks"  by Fun Lovin' Criminals -- Because he's even more gangsta now than he was just two seconds ago.
13.  "Exit"  by U2 -- FFFFF most perfect song for Coyote Starrk ever. Go read the lyrics because I demand it. And who could that cryin' dog be, howling at the wind? EH?
14.  "The Riverside Massacre"  by Dj Titch -- Long story... Renji happens by something that he shouldn't have ever happened by... He should leave right then and there and try to erase the image from his mind, but how could he? The Primera Espada kneeling on the floor of Ukitake-taichou's office, naked and with his arms stretched overhead, white blindfold around his eyes. And is that...Shunsui Kyoraku coming up behind him, just as naked and with his curly hair unbound, spilling over broad shoulders? Oh for the love of all that is fucking sacred and holy.
Ok, c'mon, you know that WAH--WAH--WAH--WAH that starts at 53 seconds is soooo porntastic.
15.  "Here Comes Another One"  by Groove Terminator -- The song I was listening to the first time Starrk decided to fight Renji back. The 6th Division fukutaichou really hadn't anticipated just how damned fast the Primera was, and he was becoming winded just from trying to keep a safe distance. But he miscalculated and ended up with one knee on the ground, and the next thing he knew Coyote Starrk was standing directly behind him. One of those gloved hands shot out to grab the shinigami's hair, twisting those blood-red strands around leather-clad fingers... And all Renji could do was stare wide-eyed as Starrk powered a cero from his chest, building just inches away from the redhead's stunned face.

Disc Two @SENDSPACE

01.  "36 Degrees"  by Placebo -- Look up the lyrics and try to tell me that this song isn't Hisagi Shuuhei.
02.  "Battle for the Sun"  by Placebo -- Kazeshini is a black and heavy weight, and Shuuhei refuses to participate.
03.  "Left My Heart in Tokyo"  by Mini Viva -- Yes, I know. It sounds ridiculously upbeat and poppy, but I just can't stop seeing Shuuhei when I listen to it. It may sound cheerful, but the words are full of cynicism... HE LEFT HIS HEART IN RUKONGAI TOKYO. I have a thing for Shuuhei in drag, specifically geisha drag after this one picture xglimpsex sent me... So in an AU realm I like to imagine Shuuhei as the pretty boy in geisha drag, using the distraction to cover up the fact that he is really an assassin. Yea, I really think these things >_>
04.  "When You Were Young"  by the Killers -- This song speaks to my Shuuhei.
05.  "Closer"  by Kings of Leon -- Muguruma Kensei. Listen to the lyricssssssss
06.  "Ambition"  by Doves -- Kensei x Shuuhei. This song is unbelievably sad to me for some reason, and I always want to cry when I listen to it ;_;
07.  "B" by Iamamiwhoami--  A Byakuya x Gin song... You don't want to know what I envision for them while listening to this. Or do you?
08.  "The Widow"  by Mars Volta -- My theme song for Kira Izuru. Oh, the anguish in the singer's voice just gives me chills.
09.  "The New Flesh"  by Nine Inch Nails -- Another Kira song, overcome with creeping torment...
10.  "Pretty When You Cry"  by Vast -- Gin x Kira. Told from Gin's perspective, and of course he's pretty when he lies, the same way that Izuru is pretty when he cries...
11.  "I Am the Body Beautiful"  by Salt-n-Pepa -- Ok how could I NOT think of Ayasegawa Yumichika when listening to this song? Oh, he's just so seductive in my mind.
12.  "Baby's on Fire"  by the Venus In Furs -- This song is actually quite random now that I listen to it again...
13.  "Prince Charming"  by Adam & the Ants -- A Yumichika song, respectively. It's just so him. (Can you tell that I'm getting tired at this point? I'm less descriptive with every passing moment...) 
14.  "Save Yourself"  by Stabbing Westward -- Yumichika x Kira. Want to guess which one of them is the singer? 
15.  "Demon Days"  by Gorillaz -- A nice little song to wrap up the series, no?

16. "Local God"  by Everclear-- Kick ass song is kick ass. Picture this. The Bleach boys in a Romeo + Juliet setting. You know, the actual movie of 1996, with Leonardo Dicaprio and Claire Danes. Now picture this: Grimmjow Jeagerjaques, Coyote Starrk, and Muguruma Kensei as Montagues. On the flip side, Akon, Hisagi Shuuhei, and Abarai Renji as Capulets. Who do you think is Romeo, eh? Who is Juliet??

Ok it is officially 3:11 am, and sleep is calling... I hope the downloads work, and that all of you enjoy!! You'll see that my taste in music is all over the board... So something in there for everyone? Yes, no?

Ah, I knew that it was something with Shrew. I haven't read it either, I've only read... Othello, Romeo and Juliet, and Midnight Summer's Dream.

IT IS PERFECT, I WAS THINKING THAT EARLIER. The reason I made Grimmjow a Montague was because I couldn't help thinking of how they looked in the movie. If I remember right the Capulets had dark hair and dark clothing, and the Montagues were kind of colorful with their floral shirts. So I just thought of Grimmjow with his bright blue hair in one of those shirts :3

BUT I've been switching things around, decided to make Renji a Montague and Starrk a Capulet. In fact, I made Starrk Juliet (so of course Renji is Romeo) and Grimmjow would be just perfect as Tybalt, no?

Have you finished the series yet or are you still making your way through the episodes? I was pairing Grimmjow with Mugen in my head, no joke.

It is a kick-ass mashup. It really is.

I've read Much Ado About Nothing, R and J, Macbeth and Hamlet. They were all the texts we had to study through school. Romeo and Juliet will always be my favourite though. I actually went to Verona and saw THE BALCONY. It was basically the equivalent of a religious experience for me. I fangasmed so goddamn much. There were even two pigeons, canoodling on the balcony rail. I fucking kid you not. It was amazing. Then one even flew away and the one left behind was so sad looking. DD: The only massive downer was we didn't get to go inside Juliet's house (or vist the Montague Castle or see Juilet's tomb for that matter) because it was a day stop on a school trip. And you have to go through like, an underpass/tunnel to get into the courtyard and there a million love notes stuck all on the walls and ceiling. It's so beautiful. There was one with my name on it.

Oh shit. Look at what I just did. I fangirled about something not relevant at all. That's how bad my Shakespeare nerd is. I got his collected works for my birthday. *shame* D:

I like Renji being a Montague, it suits him. And feeds the fangirl like whoa.. And Starrk would make a sweet and sassy Juliet. But we need to give Renji a Mercutio. I always liked him too. OMG. YES. Grimmjow would be the perfect Tybalt! I just remembered that Tybalt is the Cat Prince. Too fucking perfect. Bwah. I am waaay too enthused about this crossover. You've happened upon a bad combination regarding my personal passions. :P

No, I haven't finished it yet, I'm about halfway through and yes, Grimmjow and Mugen are like, made for each other. Twin personalities. Right there. Oh yes. xD

AWWW those two pigeons sound adorable. And that tunnel with the love notes?! That sounds so awesome! I wish I could've seen that ;__; I never went on any cool school trips like that *whines*

STARRK AS JULIET MAKES ME INSANELY HAPPY. He'd be so cute wearing those wings. I was watching some of the movie last night and saw the part where R and J first meant, standing on either side of the fish tank. And I replaced them with Renji and Starrk in my head and and and *_* AMAZING, I TELL YOU.

I was trying to think of who'd play Mercutio... I thought of Yumichika because I can picture him in drag far too easily. But he isn't great friends with Renji like Mercutio was with Romeo. And I'm one of those people who would like to think that Mercutio was secretly in love with Romeo >>

I had an entire AU planned with Grimm/Mugen but my Redemption verse has taken over my mind and I haven't thought much about it lately.. and now Grimmjow's completely wrapped up in Akon, haha.

I keep meaning to post pictures of my trip up on lj, but I keep forgetting. I took 1000+, but when I post up the ones from there, I'll let you know. It was a pretty awesome school trip. I loved it.

Hee. Yes. I'm bad bad Shakespeare nerd. I never really got into LOTR though. Guh, Avatar: The Last Air Bender is amazing.There are certain episodes that always make me cry, een if I've seen them like, four times. And Oh God. DISNEY. What to say about that I don't even. Too much love. So I guess I'm pretty kiddie and immature too. ^__^ With a billion random things I'm obessesd with

HE'D BE SO ADORABLE. He's just the right sort of quiet and dreamy for it. And he'd look hot as hell in those angel wings. *O* I can imagine it would be AMAZING. You totally need to re-write that scene at some point. Even just a drabble.

I dunno, I thought Ichigo at first, which is weird because I don't even ship RenIchi, but I dunno, they have the strongest friendship bond that I could think of. Ichigo would so be up for helping Renji!Romeo in a heroic quest for love. :P

lol, I love the Redemption Verse. Maybe because it's awesome and detailed as the canon, but probably because my favoruite guys feature in it prominently, unlike canon. Naaaw. Of course he's wrapped up in Akon. :3

Yay!! I look forward to seeing the pictures, whenever you get around to it.

Oh, I adore LOTR and I was completely obsessed with it when it first hit the theatres. Not so much now but I have lots of good memories :) Avatar has made me cry too!! I thought I was the only one... When Azula nearly killed Aang?! Yea, I shed more than a few tears.

Starrk has his moments of innocent weirdness in my mind, and he actually stuck his tongue out at Renji when they were facing off across the fish tank, lol. A slow, lazy extension of his tongue, equipped with hooded eyes.

Ichigo... hmm... He would definitely put an entirely new spin on Mercutio!! That gives me food for thought :D

D'aww thank you! I didn't even mean for it to become so detailed, it just sort of happened. Grimmjow and Mugen actually got as close as Grimmjow and Akon, but it kind of fizzled the more in depth I got with Redemption. MMM but now that I've brought it up again, Grimm's taken to following Mugen around.

I haven't seen all the movies, I've seen the first two, and I never really got into them much because I hated the books. :| Oh yay! We can cry together! Nah, I cry at weird bits, like when Aang had to go off with that guy to learn how to master the Avatar state and unblock his chakrahs. I always cry when they get to the Heart Chakrah and an cries and lets go of the guilt for running away from the air nomads. ;___; I really hope this live-action movie is ok.

Hnnnnnnnggg. You have to stop giving me these mental images! It will only feed my obsession! Argh! Oh Starrk, You knew Renji was eyeing you off. You tease you.

Oh good. Food for thought is always a good thing.

Hated the books?! I read them a long time ago, but I remember that I liked them :) The movies were better though, imo. And that reminds me!! I think I cried during that Appa episode when he was all alone looking for Aang and then he remembered when he played with other Air Bison D:

I have little faith in the movie because it's directed by M. Night... he is the worst.

Yeah. I'm kinda weird like that. I read The Hobbit once, then re-read it and discovered I couldn't stand it. I never got much further than that. Bit of a fail. Yeah, the movies are ok, I just haven't watched all of the third one. The Ents are my favourite part. They're really awesome. :D

I... I try to. Because I reallyreally want it to be good. The casting is appalling though. But lets not go there.

GOOD. And so he should be. I would expect no less from him.

Yeah, he'd better. He has a special kind of lovin'. And I bet he does like Mugen.

Everyone seems to like the Ents, but I didn't!! Lol how weird XD

The casting... Who they picked to play Zuko? And who they picked to play Sokka? Those two should have been switched. And don't even get me started on Aang!!! *rages*

At the moment Grimmjow and Mugen are kind of in the...friend stage. Which is weird, because when I had them messing around they were very not friends. At least not the way that they are now. My favorite thing about writing is watching the characters interact with each other, because it's always a surprise :)

OMG. I so enjoyed that episode. Yea it was creepy as hell, and I think that's why I liked it. It was kind of like a mini horror movie... And the tone of the leader's hair was SO COOL to me.

Oh, and the bad (or awesome) thing about Grimmjow and Mugen being friends is that they just encourage each other's bad behavior XD

... Good point. I don’t know if I’ve seen Appa or anything in the trailers. I’m betting CGI.

It was really creepy. I was watching it at night and the house was quiet too. I thought I was going to have nightmares. Thankfully I didn’t. The leader was pretty cool though, I liked his clothes, and he reminded me of L from Death Note a whole lot. I liked him. But the zombies tried to eat Mugen’s legs. And that was so not cool. D: I had to put my legs up on the chair just in case they came for mine next.
I finished watching it last night. I thought that Mugen and Jin were going to die. I held my breath pretty much for the last five minutes. :P I’m so glad they didn’t. But I want to know what happens next. I didn’t want them all to just leave each other like that. :C But man, Mugen and Jin were so hot in the last ep. xD

GOOD. They should encourage each other. They’re both incorrigible and that’s why I love them.

I was thinking today, that I actually haven’t said that I really like the music now that I’ve listened to it.
‘When you where young’ is SO Shuuhei/Kensei. It just is. It’s practically irrefutable. :P I really like 20 Dollars too, and the concept of Akon getting high, alone in the lab even more so for some reason. Actually, ‘Mad House’ from Rihanna’s album reminds me of 12th so much. It’s trying to inspire a drabble but it’s not really working.

The support band at the Lady Gaga concert had some songs that reminded me of Yumichika a lot, I need to look them up. And so do half of Gaga’s for that matter. They’re just so fabulous.

But to keep this short, I really love a lot of the songs you chose hun. So awesome.

Yea, I liked the leader's whole design, and he really did look like L, didn't he? Maybe a little creeper :P I can't think of one SC episode that I didn't like, though. How far are you into the series now? I think the zombie one was towards the end but I can't really remember...

Hehe, I'm glad that you liked the music!! That Killers' song is just amazing for Shuuhei. I especially love the 'he doesn't look a thing like jesus but he talks like a gentleman' part, even if Kensei isn't much of a gentleman XD

He did look a lot like L. And definately creepier. But he was still pretty cool. It was the other zombies I didn't like. :C Yeah, it was near the end, I've finished it now, I was so worried that Jin and Mugen were going to die/kill each other. I also really want to know what happened next, I wish they didn't just leave each other like that. I got so attached to them as a group. I'm so sappy like that. But I still really loved it. I started the Manga last night too.

It really is! I can totally see him, sneaking back to that clearing where Kensei saved him from the hollow some days and jamming out to his accoustic cover of it with his guitar. *__* So damn cute. No, I guess Kensei's not really your typical gentleman, but I bet he looked that way to Shuuhei when he was litle. So it still suits him in a weird way.

I might try and drabble, but I don't actually write much because I suck at comming up with ideas. But we'll see what happenswhen I finish my assignments.
